Kansai Plascon desired to relocate their showroom at minimal cost re-using many of their existing joinery items.

In line with the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, where much loved items are re-used and repaired, we set out to re-purpose elements to create beautiful and inspirational space. The showroom needed to accommodate a colour mixing lab, flexible display space, offices, and a masterclass presentation room.

Every element was thought of and beautifully executed in conjunction with the client’s creative team.

Sculptural elements and texture were created using everyday painter’s tools such as brushes and tins.

Paint was used to illustrate the beautiful, creative and cost-effective change it could make to the simplest and often imperfect object.
