The Innovation Centre comprises a data centre, energy centre & office block for technical staff. The Data Centre houses technologically advanced sensitive cellular equipment. All data, electrical and mechanical services are designed & implemented after an intensive co-ordination process. Tier 4 compliance in the backbone reliability of all mechanical and electrical services is achieved through the dedicated energy centre. The energy centre houses two static systems. Low maintenance finishes, cavity walls and minimal use of glazing ensures that the data and energy centre are energy efficient & environmentally conscious.

The offices are optimally designed to cut down on lifecycle costs with optimal orientation, shaded/indirect fenestration & cavity walls with thermal insulation. Hot water for the canteen kitchen is generated as a by-product of the HVAC system for the offices. This facility also house the National Control Centre from which the entire Mascom network and services is controlled and monitored.
